As a tireless campaigner for women’s rights, Hope Solo knew that she would be participating in the Women’s March in Washington, D.C., the moment it was announced.

On January 21st, the day after President Donald Trump was inaugurated, Hope and her husband, Jerramy, joined over a million women in the nation’s capital, making their voices heard. It was a historic day as an estimated five million women participated in the event worldwide.

During the march, Hope took to social media to share her experience.
